~ Spring 2009 Concert Series ~

We are excitedly preparing a grand program for Spring 2009 to pay tribute to one of America's greatest singers, Frank Sinatra.  His songlist was tremendous and we've culled out some of his best.  Check our Performance Calendar for complete details.

The Blackhawk Chorus began in 1991 with 12 women whose dedication to and fondness for music was exemplary.  Word spread of the success of the group and in the following year, men were invited to participate. Now the 130-strong chorus performs regularly in the East San Francisco Bay Area.

The Blackhawk Chorus represented the state of California in the American Music Festival in June 2003 in Austria and the Czech Republic, sang at High Mass in Italy’s St. Peter’s Basilica in July, 2005, and performed concerts in the United Kingdom (London, Wales and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland) in August, 2007.
